This adorable replica of the 1909 Steiff bear is crafted from the finest chocolate brown coloured mohair and features an "underscored button in the ear" made of patinated steel to reflect the aging process. Just like the original, it has wooden eyes and is stuffed with wood shavings. It's 5-way jointed, meaning the arms, legs and head all move. At 46cm tall, this limited edition Steiff Teddy Bear Replica 1909 comprises just 909 pieces and is a wonderful addition to any collection. Created in 1909, the original Teddy bear would have had the chance to “bear” witness to visits to the factory by Margarete Steiff herself. It even contains the famous Steiff growler in its tummy.
