First designed for Steiff in 1908, the original red bear carried by this Xenia mouse became the lifelong companion of a Russian Princess named Xenia, and was the first antique Teddy bear to set a world record at auction in 1989. Now available as a limited edition of only 1500 pieces worldwide, Xenia mouse is the latest addition to the series of Steiff mice with Teddy bears. Xenia wears wool plush , a delicately crocheted lace collar and a satin rose on her head. She holds the famous 1908-designed mohair Teddy bear tightly in her paws.
