Peter's Zotty Teddy Bear

Zotty has been a Steiff collectors' classic since 1951. Named after Margarete Steiff’s great-great-great-nephew Peter Hotz, who modelled for the Steiff catalogue at the tender age of three. Made of finest mohair , Peter’s Zotty is available in a limited edition of just 969, a number chosen to mark the year of his birth: 1969. His charm, traditional Steiff growler and caramel-tipped coat are exactly the same as in the early days. Each Teddy bear comes with a copy of an old photo of Peter Hotz and his favourite cuddly toy. The custom-made photo frame calls to mind the green window panes in the Steiff factory hall. Five way jointed, made of finest mohair , 37cm.
